Grain storage

Harvesting is very important for every farm. The two most important things in grain harvesting are speed and accuracy. The client does not waste time and expects a quick and objective determination of the quality of the harvest. We can ensure this in all elevators of Linas Agro Grain Center. Automated processes in the laboratory determine the quality of the crop in a short time. Qualitative data of delivered grain automatically reach the accounting program. This avoids possible errors or inaccuracies. Our grain receiving points professionally prepare the delivered crop to the required quality parameters and store it in their warehouses until the grain is loaded to buyers.

If a farm is itself capable of preparing its grain to match the appropriate parameters, then it can deliver its grain directly to the port. We have also modernized and automated the reception of grain in ports, which helps to manage cargo flows smoothly and helps farmers to spend as little time as possible in queues.

"Linas Agro" group's own grain storage network consists of 13 modern elevators, 10 of which operate in Lithuania: in Joniškis, Kėdainiai, Vilkaviškis, Šiauliai, Pasvalys, Lukšiai, Jungėnai, Kartena, Kupiškis (ŽŪK Kupiškio grūdai) and together with partners - in Panevėžys district, Gustonys (“Karčema” KB). There are 3 grain storages in Latvia: in the fourth season, farmers are served by the Jēkabpils elevator, last year new elevators were opened in Grobiņa and Rēzekne. 
 
We are constantly increasing the capacity of our own grain storage facilities, which is currently exceeds 300 thousand tons. The group's grain storage capacity in ports has reached almost 200 thousand tons.
